Givat Ada was founded in 1903 and is named after the wife of Baron Benjamin Edmond de Rothschild Adelaide (Ada)
Binyamina was founded in 1922 and was named after the Baron himself. In 2003, the colonies were merged into a single municipal entity, Binyamina Givat Ada, each maintaining its unique identity within a single economic structure.
